Cinco de Mayo is this weekend and you better believe that residents and tourists to the area will be hitting the town in search of a festive celebration. There's a lot going on here for the big holiday, including Chruch Street's Cinco de Mayo Party, the Wall Street Plaza's Block Party, the Cinco de Mayo party at Mucho Tequilla, the bash at Adobe's Gila, Mexico Pavillion at Epcot, the Blue Martini party as well as the holiday bas at Blue Martini. Unfoertunately, with all of these parties come a lot of booze and a lot of drivers. That's why were asking celebrators to make a plan before heading out, a plan to secure a sober ride to help to prevent alcohol-related car accidents in Orlando and the surrounding areas.

Highest Risks for Orlando Boating Accident in May 69
Florida is the most dangerous states in the country when it comes to boating accidents. As a matter of fact, there were more boating accidents in Florida and elsewhere throughout the state in 2009 than there was anywhere else in the country during the same time, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). In 2009, there were nearly 70 fatalities resulting from boating accidents Orlando and elsewhere in the state of Florida. California followed behind with less than 50 boating fatalities.

Risks of Motorcycle Accidents in Orlando and Elsewhere and National Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month 32
The month of May is used to help raise awareness about motorcycles on our nation's roadways. It's National Motorcycle Safety Month, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This month-long campaign may be most important in the state of Florida as we have many more motorcyclists on our roadways compared to the roads in other states. Our year long summer-like weather provides a perfect opportunity for riders to get out, hit the open road and enjoy some fun travel. Unfortunately, their risks for auto accidents in Orlando and elsewhere in the state are relatively high because of these riding perks.

Scooters4Hooters: A Huge Success, Raising Nearly $150,000 35
Recenetly, the Orlando area was able to come together to fight for a cause strong in many's hearts. It was the 6th Annual Breast Cancer Charity Ride and Music Fest and residents from around the area came together to host a successful event to raise some much needed money. The money rasied by this event will be able to help provide comprehensice breast and health services to many of the underdeserved Central Florida community. This year's event was able to raise nearly $150,000!
